Joliet Social Roundup Includes Alumni Dance and Pageant
Joliet society notes list Mr and Mrs Hill, the Gerlachs and many others at a large gathering of Joliet residents. Holiday visits include Jack Riley hosting guests at 401 Nicholson and J M Everhart’s daughters arriving from St Louis before Christmas. Notre Dame alumni plan an informal dance December 28 at the Elks ballroom with a football autograph prize. A Nativity pageant will be staged December 22 at St John’s Universalist church with sixty characters. Several bridge and luncheon events fill the week as families travel to Tucson and Daytona Beach for the season.
