Largest Enrollment Seen at St Francis College
The College of St. Francis in Joliet, the area’s only four year college, will open September 18 for the fall term to accommodate what is described as the largest enrollment in the school’s history. About 200 young women are expected to study there this year under the Sisters of St. Francis of Mary Immaculate. Registrations are being taken in the main college building at 303 Taylor Street. Last year students came from eight states and more regions are expected to be represented this year.
