Weather recording unit installed at Joliet airport
Three men supervise the setup of a $10,000 automatic weather recording machine at Joliet Municipal Airport. Alden Clemons and Blaine Flesher, Joliet residents, work for the Chicago Weather Bureau with William A. Kuning of Washington DC arriving to install the teletype and connect the temperature and visibility readings. The unit is expected to be completed this week.
