Park board weighs pool bids for Joliet recreation center

Joliet park commissioners reconvene Monday night to consider bids for a $450000 recreation center beside Joliet Memorial stadium on Route 52. The low Robert Regan Construction Co bid faces comparison with Arkansas Construction Co. If bids are rejected, new bids will be sought. Project aims to finish in time for the 1960 swimming season.
