Public notice of a 1922 commissioner sale in Mills Harding County NM. The marshal is to auction diverse farm equipment including a DeLaval cream separator a Buckeye truck among other items to satisfy a court foreclosure decree against A B Slasher W H Jordan and A M Jordan with the sale set for December 4 1922 at ten in the morning at the front door of the State Bank of Mills. The sale proceeds go to satisfy principal interest and costs totaling about 648.88 plus 5.45 in interest and costs.
Mosquero hosts Armistice Day with speeches by Hon. A H McGlothlin A W Drake and Mayor Benj F Brown followed by a big barbecue for about a hundred guests. Afternoon events include stock-dogging roping goat and sack races and a six o'clock banquet for sailors soldiers and families. The Tucumscari Orchestra provided music at the hall of the new Mosquero school.
Lloyd Morford and Ira Woods made a business trip to Mosquero last Tuesday. C C Moore and Niels Lindgren visited the Wilson tract, with others from the community attending Armistice Day in Mospaoso. Mrs Frank Morford visited from the valley, and several school children suffer sore throats, with some quite ill.

Yates Literary Club meets at Community Hall with debate on necessity versus curiosity and a program of solos readings and skits. Community Club gathers November 24 at the schoolhouse for games music and refreshments. Mrs Frank Gillum visits Clayton for the weekend.
Megley and Donnie Gibbs sons of Mayor Gibbs purchase a radiophone from Anderson Battery Co and spend evenings listening to concerts from large broadcasting stations, enjoying late broadcasts with Roy’s young radio enthusiasts.
