Hallow E'en Pranks in Roy Mon Day Night
Youngsters roamed the town on Halloween causing assorted mischief. Small boys moved items, stole watermelons from Prof Johnson, and broke into the schoolhouse. Four girls dressed as ghosts were restrained by older youths at telephone poles, but the night ended with lighthearted mischief and laughter.

Deer Hunters Arrested After Guilty Plea at Hell Ranch
Owners of Hell Ranch caused the arrest of Jim Rea and Otto Norm from Mosque to hunt deer in the pasture. They were taken to Las Vegas, pleaded guilty, and fined $50 plus costs of $25 each to be paid. Four others, Thomas Buchanan, George Sheldon, Ernest Simpson, and Caldwell, were arrested by fence riders and sent to Vegas for trial. they also pleaded guilty.
