Mrs. Floersheim, gravely ill at her Roy home, was moved to Trinidad Hospital for urgent surgery by Dr Freudenthal. Accompanied by Dr Self, family members, and friends, she awaits operation as doctors advise it offers the best chance of life. Willie Yarbrough survived a road accident, later regaining consciousness at Plumlee Hospital. He is recovering and aware little of the event. Lofton and L. W. Wilson attended Masonic Lodge in Roy last Thursday.

Crime Wave Strikes Colfax County Roiling Raton and Dawson
Colfax County faced a surge of crime in the past two weeks with several hold ups and at least one murder. Local taxi driver Charlie Swick was killed on the Gardner road about a mile from Raton as two men robbed him of $50 and his watch after a violent struggle. Wolcott L.
