Death of Geo Hutson Reported From Roy Area
Geo O Hutson aged 84 was found dead in his Roy area home last Saturday by 12 year old Johnnie Whiting. Death likely from apoplexy occurred while alone in his residence around June 7 1911. The body decomposed delaying burial. a jury ruled the cause as stroke and he had planned burial in Iowa.

Picnic for Key Sunday School at Beaver Dam Canyon
The young people’s class from Key Sunday school enjoyed a canyon outing last Friday in Beaver Dam Canyon. They hiked and admired scenery then gathered at a well filled table with sandwiches salads chicken cabes and ice cream for over an hour before returning home by moonlight. The class, one of the largest in northeastern New Mexico, organizes a social or picnic at least every two months to draw in local youth.
