Chamber of Commerce Holds Important Mass Meeting
At the L A office the chamber of commerce and public gathered Tuesday night for a continuation of last week’s meeting. They discussed annexations adding 40 sections to Roy District, the Liberty District annexation, and the new schoolhouse progress. Local road plans received county approval, with a five mile grading proposal from H Mahoney. The meeting was well attended by farmers, with Mayor Brown presiding and S E Patton as secretary.

County Commissioners Set New Harding County Precinct and Land Tax
Harding County officials established Abbott precinct No. 17 with J. R. McKee as Justice of the Peace and Clyde McCoplin as Constable. County Board of Education Organized in Harding County
The Harding County County Board of Education met at Mosquero to form a permanent body led by President Edith M Coffeen and Vice President Oliver M Warrender. They set nine month teacher pay, drew a boundary between districts 24 and 33, ordered a county map, planned district numbering, and assigned August census duties for clerks. The next session will combine with the County Commissioners and State Education Auditor in early August.
