City Water Works Nears Completion by Steinbaugh Brothers
The Steinbaugh Brothers finished installing the city pump and windmill and connected the system to Fber gheim tower. Two wells yield 18 to 20 gallons per minute for downtown, with a drinking fountain and small faucet water. Fire plugs planned at Appel, Busey, Gistrap, Lucero, and Reeder corners as lines extend.
