Fatal Elevator Shaft Accident Claims Roy Boy Ronald Hobson
Ronald Lee Hobson eight year old son of C B Hobson Roy jeweler died after his clothing and left leg became tangled in elevator shafting at Mesa Co-Operative Elevator. He was playing with other children when he rode the shaft and was dragged under it as the engine slowed. Despite prompt medical care he died Saturday morning. The tragedy prompted reminder that children should not be near the machine.
