Contract Set For High School Building At Roy
At a special school board meeting bids for a new public and high school building in Roy were opened. Brown and Thompson of Clovis NM won the $48,998 contract to erect the main structure with two wings and a full heating electrical and toilet system. The 60 by 78 foot three story main block and 24 by 7 wings will include 12 classrooms a music room a superintendent’s room and a large auditorium. Construction must begin when bond funds are available and finish within 120 days by September 10th under architect Berry’s supervision.
