Sad death of Mrs. Sarah Lindsay in Socorro
Reverend and Mrs Alexander Lindsay of Flemingsburg Kentucky arrived in Socorro six weeks ago seeking a healthier climate for Mrs Lindsay who died peacefully Sunday. Sarah W. Grant Lindsay born August 16 1873 in Fayette County Kentucky was once a math professor at Frankfort High School. The couple supported missions in eastern Kentucky before moving to Socorro. Funeral services were held at the Terry home on Fischer Avenue with large local attendance. The family left for Kentucky with the remains after expressing thanks for local sympathy.
