Mrs Morris Loewenstein Dead in Socorro
Mrs Morris Loewenstein wife of a respected local businessman died at the family home on California street Thursday after a stroke. Born Charlotte Price in 1854 in Berlin Prussia she came to America in 1893 and lived 19 years in Socorro where she was highly respected. A large number of citizens and the Knights of Pythias gathered to honor her memory and escort the remains to Albuquerque for interment in the family burial place.
