Teachers Institute Adjourns in Socorro and Sierra Counties
The joint normal institute for Socorro and Sierra counties adjourned Thursday after a successful two weeks. Attendance was large and the work high. a visit to the School of Mines impressed visitors, with President-elect R P Noble guiding tours. Committees were named on resolutions, invitations, and entertainments, with thanks to J A Torres, F L Garcia, C M Light, and others. A small surplus after expenses led to a fifty cent refund to each member. teacher certification exams proceed as a number of applicants remain.
