Mackay will serve Salmon City Challis and nearby settlements with a 90 mile freight and passenger branch, expect extension to Challis next spring, despite Salt Lake Tribune misplacing Mackay Challis distance at 30 miles not 54.
Mrs. John 8. Watson of Blackfoot died suddenly of heart trouble on Monday October 1. She was a pioneer lady for Bingham county society and community.
