End the Enormous Waste of Custer County Lands
In Challis Idaho the Custer county land use is analyzed as 2,576,780 acres open for grazing after deducting forest reserves. The piece argues 2,116,750 acres go to waste annually, suggesting grazing expansion could add thousands of cattle and millions in meat value, urging citizens to keep money local and support increased cattle farming. D. C. Smutz, president of First National Bank of Challis, signs the appeal.
