Rules for Commutaed Homestead Proofs Issued at Hailey
The Hailey Land Office issued instructions governing homestead commutation proofs. For entries after November 1, 1907, proof must show fourteen months of actual residence and cultivation. For pre November 1, 1907 entries, six months of actual residence may count toward a total fourteen months, with constructive residence credited from the entry date if maintained.
