Pioneer James H VanCamp Dies in Challis Idaho
James Harding VanCamp of Challis Idaho dies at his home Wednesday morning November 1911 from pneumonia. He served in the Civil War, helped build Challis, held local offices, and was a longtime Republican leader and G A R commander. His funeral was led by G A R members and Rev. Burnett. He leaves a widow, children, siblings, and many friends.
