Mrs Hollie Elder relocates from the Boyd hotel on Main Street to Peasant Avenue Challis and invites old customers and new visitors to call. She promises courteous treatment and a welcoming reception for all patrons.
Custer county announces Democratic and other party tickets for state and district offices. The call lists Margaret Keen and Margaret Keenan as superintendent candidates, Voters see George Emery and Carlton Lane among others. Sealed bids for county printing for one year from January 2, 1908 are invited, including legal notices and election tickets, with bond and board rights to reject.
County officials in Idaho seek proposals for one year of care and maintenance of the county poor, including food clothing bedding medicines and hospital space. Bids due by the second Monday in January. The winning bidder must enter a contract to manage all committed persons and provide essential medical and sanitary services, with a bond set at twice the contract price.
