Miss Laura S Geertson a former Challis schoolteacher is involved in an Ogden Utah shooting of Dr Fisher. She fired at him in his office wounding him with a pistol as they argued over marriage and threats. She is held on assault with intent to murder while Fisher describes a two year pursuit and a failed promise to wed.
