County Democratic convention elects delegates at Clayton
The Custer county Democratic gathering met at Clayton last Saturday selecting seven delegates to the State convention at Twin Falls on June 3 and seven delegates to the Wallace convention on August 4. J A Czizek of Boise was nominated but withdrew. Kilgore was chair, Morris secretary. The platform backs Bryan, anti-Mormon plank, Dubois and Stockslager for National delegates, and adopts a Two-Mile Limit Law. Delegates instructed to vote as a unit. Emil Kleupfer’s brother arrived from California. Much alfalfa and raspberry crop damage noted.
