Our paper has ordered a Scoluma quarto cylinder press from Omaha. It weighs 3,000 pounds and measures 9 feet 6 inches by 5 feet 9 inches, capable of printing 1,000 copies per hour. Installation will be delayed to May 1, due to road conditions, and both presses run on a gasoline engine. This upgrade, alongside a Simplex typesetting machine, will yield vastly faster work and strengthen our Idaho office outside Salmon Recorder.
