Lemhi Forest Reserve Grazing Permits Announced for 1907
The Secretary of Agriculture authorizes grazing in the Lemhi Forest Reserve for 1907 for stock with prior regular use. Applications and permits will be issued, with districting by past use and stock type. Sheep season June 15 to October 15 at 6 cents per head. lambing grounds April 1 to October 15 at 5 cents plus 2 cents for ewes lambing. Cattle and horses April 1 to November 15 at 25 and 35 cents respectively. Young animals under six months not counted. Year long permits 35 cents per cattle head and 40 cents per horse head. April 5 deadline at Mackay. Regulations likely apply to Salmon River Reserve as adjacent.
