Loon Creek forms new Gold Mining company in Idaho

The Loon Creek Gold Mining company launches with the Gold Calusa group claiming a 40 foot ledge yielding about 8 dollars per ton and a parallel ledge showing 22.30 dollars per ton. They hold an option on the Little Bilk claim with surface float indicating 5 to 15 ounces gold per ton plus 200 ounces silver and 10 to 14 percent copper. Founding officers include Clarence McCornick president Lawrence Greene vice president Josiah Barnett director R Macbeth treasurer E Eddy manager and director D H Peery among founders. The effort aims for vigorous development this year.
