Delinquent Tax List for Custer County Idaho 1898 Sale

Notice by directive of statutes that on Friday July 1 1898 at 10 oclock a m at the court house door Challis Idaho the county will offer for sale described properties to satisfy 1897 taxes and costs with penalties for many land parcels ranch improvements personal property and K P and H taxes. Sale continues day to day until completed with many named owners properties and amounts listed. If taxes and costs are not paid the property will be sold at public auction.

Sullivan Hot Springs Near Clayton Offer Healing Waters

Springs two and a half miles above Clayton on Salmon river promise temperate bathing waters with strong medicinal sulphur properties. It attracts invalids and pleasure seekers as a resort. Mr Sullivan has improved guest comfort with a carriage in attendance and a daytime round trip for 50 cents. Two plunge baths are complete with more conveniences planned.
