California Consolidated Petroleum Company ad promises rich returns

A promotional notice argues oil investments protect both rich and poor by pooling interests across many California fields. It claims high future oil value, rapid stock gains, and safety features like non assessable shares, with a short term offer at 50 cents per share and a looming advance to 1.00. Purchases require a quarter upfront and rest in 60 days.
