A Big Mine at Golden Sunbeam on Jordan Creek
The Golden Sunbeam mine on Jordan creek is described as the country’s largest mining proposition with a million tons of ore in sight and potential for profitable operation. A 1000 horsepower power plant and two mills will enable 850 tons daily, allowing $5 ore to be mined profitably, despite abundant high grade ore. Mr. Gable reportedly declined $600,000 for his stake. Additional power plans at Yankee Fork and purchases by Lost Packer and Valley Creek groups are noted as they seek to run mills when the plant is completed.
