The Lucky Bay Mining Company merges the Dickens-Custer Mining Company mill and properties in Custer county Idaho. Colonel Nick Treweek resigns to lead operations with Major Stanton as foreman. the Idle mines will restart soon as alterations and additions to the mill enable ore reception via a tramway. Custer property to resume work this summer

Welcome news in Custer County as work begins this summer on the old Custer property at Custer by Nick Treweek and others. The forty includes a 30 stamp dry crush mill and a group of mines led by the Lucky Boy Unknown Custer Continental and Dickens. Manager Nick Treweek and Major Stanton are in Custer preparing to start. the mill will be repaired and everything ready for long operation.
