Notice to the administrator of Arthur Smith estate that J J Plumer and N E Livingston expended 500 on five mining claims in Stanley Mining District Custer Idaho during 1907. Each co owner owes 125. If not paid within 90 days, interests in Bank er Hill Alturas John P Junction Jumpoff lodes will vest in co owner. First publication January 21, 1908.

Postmaster J J White distributed cigars as mail traffic rose while Civil War veteran Thompson Staggs praises plan to mind own business. Town adapts to calmer climate after recent local scandal and chatter fades.
