Dies in his chair at Pacific hotel after Boise trip
Sunnyside millman Kinney Matheson of Thunder Mountain died in the reading room of the Pacific hotel shortly before 5 p m Friday. The 50 year old Roosevelt placer miner had been sick for weeks and traveled with a party including Joe Fitzgerald C A Griffith and Herman Williman. He was found dead by night clerk W Frame and Acting Coroner Schreiber ordered no inquest. A paid up miners union card and $68 50 were found on his person. No relatives located. Boise Statesman
