Butte Road Assured Railway Meets In New York City
On February 28 1905 in New York City the San Francisco Idaho and Montana Railway, recently incorporated, will hold a meeting to decide the construction start. Surveys are complete and some contracts let. The standard gauge line will run 925 miles from San Francisco to Butte through California Nevada Oregon Idaho and Montana with branches and extensive surveys in progress.
