The Silver Knights Lodge Organized in Challis

A lodge named The Silver Knights of America formed in Challis on Monday evening December 9, 1895 with a large membership. It is described as the first Order of its kind in Idaho, a secret group aimed at advancing silver. Officers installed include President A K Zeigler and Vice President H J Jones with listed secretary Frank Dearden treasurer J C Dougherty chaplain John Kirk and other officers Geo E Keyes J L Ebberts H C McKendrick.
