District Court in Custer County Idaho seeks foreclosure of a mortgage on assets tied to James A. Steen. Alias summons issued November 17, 1906 with Mil ton A. Brown of Challis as attorney for the plaintiff Tevis N. Crafts. First publication December 4, 1906.
Notice states M HENDERSON clerk of the district court elect of Custer County Idaho will apply to the Board of County Commissioners at their regular session in January 1907 for a duty. The notice was filed November 24, 1906 and published November 27, 1906.
Notice warns all persons not to trespass on land about three miles east of Challis on Salmon River. Trespassers will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Dated November 80th, 1906.

In the Probate Court of Custer County Idaho the administrator F J Clyde seeks an order to sell the entire real estate of J J Mitchell deceased to pay debts and costs. Interested parties must appear December 26 1906 at 2 PM in Challis to show cause why the sale should not be ordered. The order will be published in the Silver Messenger for four weeks.
County treasurer announces warrants against Custer county will be paid with interest to date if presented within 60 days from October 16 1906. Lists Current Expense Fund Redemption Fund Bounty Warrants Road and Bridge Fund with issue dates and warrant numbers. Interest ceases 10 days after date of advertisement. The national board for the promotion of rifle practice plans a comprehensive system to foster shooting in state militias schools private groups and individuals ages 15 to 25, aiming to prepare effective citizens for war.
The annual report to the Secretary of the Treasury covers the fiscal year ending June 30. It notes wide inquiries across cities, 2 000 banks reporting no counterfeits, 1 500 banks showing decreases, and 100 showing increases. Doubled estimates still show about three counterfeit coins per 100 000 in gold and silver, and under one counterfeit note per 100 000 in paper. Twenty five new counterfeits described, 18 makers arrested, many plants captured. Total arrests 419, with 26 born in the United States and Italy as the principal foreign contributor. New York led in arrests with 5.
