Greyhound Toll Road Co seeks county toll road franchise

Greyhound Toll Road Co Ltd Idaho will apply on October 13 1906 to the Custer County Board of Commissioners at Challis for a license to construct a toll road in the county with right of way, toll collection, and maintenance. The proposed route runs from Wagontown to Vanity Summit via Wagontown Creek Float Creek and Sulphur Creek with corduroy bridges and steep grades, totaling about 159 10 miles.

Runaway Accident Injures Fowler Family Post Drive

In a Sunday incident near Billy Bryan's, W. B. Fowler breaks his left leg below the knee and Mrs. Fowler is badly bruised when a runaway wagon is spooked by thunder. Ethel Fowler and others are unhurt except for minor injuries. several passengers endure bruises while the wagon strikes a rock and the driver is thrown. The family will miss weeks of work recovery.
