Golden Sunbeam Power Dam Opens On Salmon River

The Golden Sunbeam Power Dam across Salmon River near Yankee Fork is completed at great cost this spring and now powers Sunbeam mills and mines on Jordan Creek. It transmits electricity 12 miles, stands 36 feet high and 129 feet long on top, 100 feet bottom, delivering 2,500 horsepower. Built under the leadership of C. E. Gable, the plant required 400 tons of cement. A cut of the dam and tunnel is shown with postal cards available for 5 cents each.
