Challis Odd Fellows and Rebekahs observed the 9th anniversary with a Friday parade led by the Challis Cornet Band. Democratic State Conventions Planned in Idaho Towns

Notice under the Democratic State Central Committee states the state convention will meet in Twin Falls on June 3, 1908 at 1 PM to elect delegates to the Denver national convention. A nominating convention will be held in Wallace on August 4, 1908 at 3 PM to adopt principles, elect a new State Central Committee, and nominate candidates for Supreme Court, one Member of Congress, and state offices for November 8, 1908.

Democratic County Convention Notice in Clayton Idaho

Notice by the Custer County Democratic Central Committee that a Democratic County Convention will be held in Clayton Idaho on May 25 1908 at 2 PM to elect seven delegates to the State convention in Twin Falls on June 3 and seven delegates to the convention in Wallace Idaho on August 4 1908. Primary elections in precincts on May 20 1908 from 3 PM to 6 PM. Also lists delegate totals by county and invites primaries in other counties.
