Walter E Baxter died at his home two miles north of Challis on Sunday April 21 1901 at 2 PM from pneumonia. Born in Burnham Maine he lived in the county for many years and was 43. He leaves a wife five children and many relatives. The community honors him as an industrious upright Christian neighbor and friend.
