A W Hempleman, 75, a respected Mason and Richmond resident, suffered a slight paralytic stroke at a Webb Lodge social in Connersville. He was taken home to 1215 Main Street. Doctors say the stroke is not serious and recovery is expected in a few days after a demanding Lodge parade and cornerstone ceremony earlier in the week. Hempleman has long been active in Masonry and local affairs.
Brookville Indiana September 24 Mrs Dora Thrine age 80 was burned to death late Wednesday afternoon in a small house on her farm near Hamburg Neighbors saw flames engulfing the dwelling and the roof collapsed before they could reach her The fire is thought to be accidental with minor property loss reported on the Toney farm
