Companion Sees Woman Crushed Beneath Train Wheels
Mrs. Alice Monk a 26 year old Cedar Bluff Virginia resident and hospital attendant was killed when struck by a passenger train near Easthaven while walking with nurse Riley Blair to pick wild strawberries. Blair witnessed the death and Mrs Monk is survived by a sister, Ruth Brown, in Cedar Bluff. The body will be shipped home.

Two Farmers Held on Joyriders Law Near Williamsburg

Some 5000 young people from Eastern and Central Indiana travel to Richmond for the twenty-fifth annual Christian Endeavor Union of the United Brethren Church. Firemen Save Richmond Country Club House From Roof Fire
