Farm Hand Drowns In Swimming Hole Near Williamsburg
Lloyd Morrison an 18 year old farm hand on Elvin Oler's farm near Williamsburg drowned Sunday afternoon in a deep swimming hole near Herdel bridge about five miles west of town. Despite a Richmond police motorized rescue attempt and hospital life saving efforts the youth could not be revived. Morrison had recently moved from Marshfield Wisconsin and was a popular worker on the Oler farm. He is survived by his mother and other relatives.
