Richmond lake project begins with weir test at Sev enteenth street
City engineer Charles and two assistants built a weir across the river at Sev enteenth street to measure hourly water flow for sizing the new dam. The dam, about eighteen feet high, will back water to create a forty acre lake and allow land to be laid out for building lots. French Navy May Break Up Strike at Havre
