New York June 7 James A Bradley founder of Asbury park and Bradley beach died last night at age 91 after a general breakdown last winter. Asbury park had planned to unveil a statue in his honor on June 23 the fiftieth anniversary of the founding.

A Philadelphia federal grand jury indicted ten men for fraudulently selling stock in the Burk Burnett Oil company of Fort Worth Texas promising 24 percent yearly dividends. Fifty five persons were rescued from the Denver and Rio Grande railroad train that overturned in the Pueblo railroad yards Saturday morning. A. R. Baldwin, receiver, reports thirteen persons are still unaccounted for.

Washington June 7 Secretary Hoover announced five commodity groups for the reorganized commerce bureau to handle textiles coal and oil chemicals leather products and foodstuffs. The plan originally called for 12 basic groups with two experts each but final groupings and the number of groups remain undecided. The effort aims to expand exports and develop markets, with similar groupings to be adopted by the bureau of standards and the census bureau to standardize export products.

Washington June 7 Formal announcement of the U S policy toward Mexico is expected late today from the state department after cabinet discussion of President Obregon reply showing conditions for possible recognition. Secretary Hughes presented the Obregon reply to the cabinet as it debated the Dominican republic relations.
Charges filed against KB Stratford and three other Black men mark the first step toward prosecuting alleged leaders of Tulsa’s race riots and the burning of the Negro district last week. Stratford, in Independence Kansas, faces extradition processing as a grand jury prepares to convene.
