Mrs. Mary White Nicholson age 72 wife of Timothy Nicholson prominent in the Friends society died yesterday at Reid Memorial Hospital after a kidney congestion following a short illness. Born October 29 1839 in Belvidere North Carolina she married Timothy Nicholson in 1868 and was a longtime member of East Main Street Friends church. Survived by husband two sons John H and Thomas Nicholson of this city two daughters Sarah N Coffin of Whittier California and Eliza N Johnson of this city plus one nephew Elmer White of Norfolk Virginia. Funeral at East Main Street Friends church Saturday at 2 50 p m. Visitation at home Friday 2 90 to 5 90 p m and 7 00 to 9 00 p m. The hearse will not be opened at the church.
