Pennsylvania Railroad Employes Outing Set at Glen Miller Park
The fifth annual outing for Richmond division workers of the Pennsylvania Railroad will be held at Glen Miller Park on Thursday. Committees have organized a full program with athletic events, rides, and a band concert by the Richmond City band. Special excursion trains from Logansport and Cincinnati will arrive about 9:00 a.m. Returning trains depart at 6:00 and 6:30 p.m. Transportation, checks provided, and a three quarters of a cent per mile excursion rate for friends. Events include races for boys and girls, sack and egg races, and various prizes, with dinner served on the grounds.
