David Bennett Hall aged eighteen and Ernest Hopper aged nineteen were struck by a westbound Pennsylvania passenger train No 9 while crossing railroad tracks at eight o clock last night. Both men died, bodies found near Leonard crossing with mangled remains. Their horse perished and the buggy was torn to splinters. The accident was reported in Indianapolis after the train reached the city, initially believed not to involve fatalities.
