A warm leadership contest saw Miss Ida Beeson poll the highest vote share with over a million votes cast by young women. The party plans to leave Richmond on August fifth, signaling a major campaign move and shifting momentum in the race.
The Palladium names eight winners Ida Beeson Lucie Benton Goldie Myers Jennie Wine Maude Pettibone Goldie Dadisman Elsie Wyatt Rosa Kuehn who will tour Niagara Falls Lewiston Lake Ontario Toronto Buffalo Detroit for ten days. Ballots totaled 1,389,273. Miss Feeson led by over 120,000 votes in the final tally.
The will of the late Charles W. Carter was admitted to probate in Wayne circuit court today. The personal property and real estate are bestowed on Washington Carter of Shelbyville, named as executor with no bond required. Personal estate valued at $700.
