Negro Found Dead Beside Highway Near Jamestown
A man identified as John Headen, a resident of Groometown road, was discovered dying along the Jamestown highway Sunday at 2:30 AM by Earle Coltrane who alerted county authorities. He died at the scene, believed to be run over by a heavy auto. Investigators say the chest was crushed and scattered clues included a few provisions and two to three dollars found on the man.
