Son Burned to Death in California Oil Fields

A telegram informed John S. Bodenhamer of Route 4 City that his son Chester Bodenhamer, seven years in California with Western Pipe and Steel Co. of Taft, was burned to death in the oil fields. His remains were shipped home.

Richmond September 16 The next annual meeting of Southern Railway stockholders will be held October 13 at 10 A M in the Time Dispatch building Richmond. It marks the first meeting allowing direct voting as the voting trust dating from 1894 is being dissolved.
