Death of Mrs Mary Ann Sick Wilson in Archdale

Mrs Mary Ann Sick Wilson died at her Archdale home Friday afternoon in her 78th year. She is survived by husband Wm Wilson son Oscar E Wilson of this city a granddaughter two brothers and two sisters. A Friends church member the funeral was held Saturday from the home and the remains were sent to Springfield.

Hobart Buller and wife of Thomas ville visited Attorney Bruce Craven recently. The Trinity community praises Wilson's election and feels secure under his leadership. Epworth League devotionals were held in the college chapel. Trinity saw its largest turnout on selection day. Mrs. Fannie Johnson Owen of Fair Grove visited Mrs. D C Johnson Sr and owns a notable peach and apple orchard. Dr A M McCuiston toured Richlands Onslow Jacksonville and Polloksville and praised Richlands. Frost is fading and a second potato crop is coming in.

Wm Mansfield aged 14 sold a post card showing a dying sick hen and a healthy rooster with Wilson image after Greensboro Wilson jubilee. The hen died in a bonfire after the parade while the rooster remained in Mansfield’s yard, the youth seen proud and happy selling the card.

Young Woman Dies at Home in Green Street Residence

Miss Jessie Bridges died Tuesday morning at her home 517 West Green in her 19th year from pneumonia. Funeral services were held yesterday at West End Baptist Church with Rev. James Rose officiating and interment in Oakwood Cemetery.
